The Finch College Alumni Association Foundation Trust presented The Jessica Cosgrave Award of Achievement to four outstanding graduates: Denise Mularoni Decker, corporate banker; Nina DiGiovanna LaBruna, volunteer extraordinaire; Laura Stober Larsen, combined nursing and the art world; Marjorie R. Schulman, financial services professional.  Also honored was Barbara Robinson Buckland, Professor of French and Director of the Finch Intercontinental Study Plan. 

 

The annual fundraising event, a benefit for The Finch Grant and The Finch Scholar scholarship programs, was held at The Cosmopolitan Club.  It was the culmination of a weekend of activities.  Brunch at The Friar’s Club, a backstage tour of Radio City Music Hall, dinner and lecture by Ward Morehouse III author of “London’s Grand Hotels”, a Central Park Conservancy tour, a tour of offbeat Dumbo with a visit to graduate Stephanie Brody-Lederman’s loft art studio, a Thai lunch at Rice.  Two highlights were special reunions: The Class of ’71 at The Union Club and FISP, the Finch Intercontinental Study Plan.
