NY Times article about Finch College

We are thrilled that Bob Morris of the Style Section of The New York Times attended our recent salon meeting at the Birch Wathen Lenox School and he had the opportunity to meet many graduates and see our alumni in action.  He captured so much history and also the fact that we are alive and well today!  We are pleased he mentioned today’s involvement with scholarships.

For those of you who missed Gail Mellow’s OpEd article in the NY Times, click here.

What an excellent platform for her to fully explain the Community College contributions to our educational system. As you know, a great number of Finch Scholars have received the excellent education and mentoring at LaGuardia, enabling them to study further. We all had the pleasure to meet Gail Mellow when she spoke at the Cosgrave Awards event.
